What is the purpose of the trident? This question has been put to us many times since its launch a few weeks ago. The trident is offered as an alternative to the MkII 1man Armo. It is manufactured to the same exacting standards, and incorporates Aquatexx® Fabric. The differences are as follows: The front sections can be completely zipped off, allowing for the popular open front design. 3 section poles: fewer pole sections allow the Bivvy to be erected and packed away quicker than conventional pram hood designed Bivvy’s. When packed away, the longer slimmer size allows the Bivvy to be transported in a Quiver. Detachable front peak. Because the trident is based on the MkII 1man Armo, all of the existing MkII 1man wraps will still fit the trident.

Developed using the same principles of the legendary pioneer, the Ultralite has proved an enormous success. Due to its lightness and flexibility, we have now improved the design by allowing for more coverage from the rain when the front section is zipped off. The front section also has had extra Mozzy infil panels added. The frame of the Bivvy is manufactured from Aero Grade Aluminium which provides enormous weight reduction without compromising strength. This allows the ultralite to be transported easily when packed away. Trakker Armo MkII 2 Man Bivvy		 Following the overwhelming success of the Armo bivvy over the last three years or so , we at Trakker set about the task of improving what is regarded by thousands of anglers as the best bivvy ever. Not an easy task, but after months and months of development, we are extremely proud to announce the launch of the Armo II Bivvy. The Armo II is manufactured using a ground breaking new material ' Aquatexx' which has been developed over a period of 18 months by Trakker's leading bivvy designer, Chris Manifold, who has worked closely with a leading British material manufacturer to produce what is surely the ultimate in bivvy/brolly material. Aquatexx is not only approximately 40% stronger than conventional nylon fabrics, but its ability not to expand or contract in varying weather conditions results in a more stable shelter without the constant need for re-pegging to ensure fabric tension - a major breakthrough. A porch feature has also been added to help prevent water dripping onto the groundsheet when anglers are fishing with the door open. We have also improved the groundsheet which fits better to help prevent water ingress. As you can see, the improvements we have made will ensure that the Armo II will be even more sought after than the original.
